Five reasons the in-home visit is non-negotiable
We can only measure your space in your space
No floor plan, photo, or video call can substitute for actual measurements in your home. We take precise dimensions of your kitchen or bathroom — noting ceiling height, window placement, door swing arcs, and structural features that affect the design.
Context changes everything
How a kitchen relates to the dining room, how light enters at different times of day, where the traffic flows through a bathroom — none of this is visible in a showroom. We design for your home's specific context.
Honest budgeting requires honesty
Discussing your budget comfortably requires privacy and comfort — which a showroom, by definition, doesn't provide. In your home, we can have an honest, unguarded conversation about what you can spend and what makes sense.
We can assess what's actually required
Does your kitchen wall have plumbing behind it? Is that bathroom drain in a slab? Are there structural implications to your open-concept vision? We can only assess these things in person.
